AIMS Partners

As AIMS gains more momentum and moves towards becoming a sustainable organization, working with multiple partners both in the government and that of the international community becomes inevitable. AIMS has been able to establish its partnership with numerous GoA Ministries and Departments.

In addition to AIMS partners in Afghanistan, AIMS has managed to establish relationships with International Organizations such as, International Center for Integrated Mountain Development (ICIMOD) based in Kathmandu, Nepal, ESRI GIS software leader of the world, United Nations Development Programme which is also a direct executor of AIMS Project, United States Aid Agency for International Development (USAID), The Asia Foundation (TAF), United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA), European Commission, United Nations Assistance Mission in Afghanistan (UNAMA), United Nations Children Fund (UNICEF) and many other organizations.

AIMS partners play a key role in enhancing AIMS capabilities and contribute to the implementation of AIMS short and long term strategies. AIMS partners are not only its donors or service recipients, they act as a board of advisors providing AIMS with essential recommendation and suggestions on improving its services to meet their various demands.

AIMS understands the importance of smooth information flow to its donors and both its national and international partners. AIMS has adapted effective strategies in keeping its partners well informed of its current and future activities. As the establishment of an Information Management Workforce becomes a priority for the Government of Afghanistan (GoA) after the London conference, AIMS has already showed its willingness and commitment and has taken effective steps in ensuring its presence as a key organization that can play a vital role in building the workforce.
